pool website also down? whats the status? get it back online or have you canceld the operation of the pool?

I think it would be best to keep the pool server offline.

  1. The software the pool currently uses is not supported anymore.
  2. I have too many other projects to work on right now and running a stable pool takes too much work for me to do alone.
  3. Bitcoin mining doesnā€™t really interest me in anything more than a hobby/securing a network. Working on creating my own custom polynomial reductions to other possible NP complete problems atm, (other computational things aside from a bitcoin transaction that can use zkSNARKs)

Thanks for everyone who used this service and I hope everyone continues to secure the zcash blockchain.

Luckpool never recorded shares. In probability stats you donā€™t gain ā€œluckā€ by trying independent events over and over again.

Shares in zogpool. No luckpool. Shares in zogpool donā€™t have payout?

Zogpool never found a block so I canā€™t pay shares with what the server doesnā€™t have. Zogpool never ran as a PPS pool where I paid shares regardless of block being found by the pool.

luckpool.org and zogpool.org are back and the concepts have been merged into a single new zcash mining pool!
Have fun mining on the new pool! Two blocks have been found already.

90,000+ Sols! Where the [censored] was all that mining power when we needed it before? I am still a bit salty about Zogpool and how everybody bailed and went over to Luckpool the last time, easily lost close to 30mil hard earned shares there. Donā€™t know that Iā€™d be able to handle another collapse =/ in retrospect, I have more hashing power now than I did then, soā€¦ ĀÆ\_(惄)_/ĀÆ

I was also a dedicated miner to zogpool in its previous life.
I have actually taken over the pool and plan on keeping it alive for a long time :slight_smile:
It now has better support for all the miners out there including the rental sites.
I hope over time youā€™ll come mine with us! Enjoy hashing where ever it may be!

Luckpool.org now has zcash, zclassic & komodo mining! Hellcatz is doing a great job, many more stats and you can see how soon you will be paid.

Luckpool.org is one of the few operational komodo (KMD - see komodoplatform.com - a zcash variant gaining value every day) that has active miners.
