New miner version released, multi different type gpu’s now working. 480, 390’s & 290 working all together
Who created this miner ?
4x XFX RX480 8GB
Stock Clocks 1288/2000
What mining solver uses?
Any idea why I get this :
C:\miner\gpu>zcashgpuclient
madPrimeMiner-v1.1
ClientName = ‘FRED’ ClientID = 300002641 InstanceID = 2000013966
Address = ‘address’
found platform[0] name = ‘NVIDIA CUDA’
found platform[1] name = ‘Intel(R) OpenCL’
found platform[2] name = ‘AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing’
no OpenCL GPU devices found.
Be sure to have the folder unzipped.
Install latest GPU drivers.
Download the latest build from here Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 45 sol/s on RX480)
Check your config file for
platform = “amd”
change that to
platform = “nvidia” if you have Nvidia GPUs
Be sure to delete equiw200k9_gpu bins in the folder if they have been created before running
And just wait for solutions…
just the master rc2, 24 threads
i7 2700K overclocked @ 4.7 ghz on a hyper-v partition getting 11 h/s
Worked !
How do you set the Worksize / Threads depending on your card model ? Cuda Core = Threads ?
This is my crappy results :
Those results seem to be fine IMHO.
Messing with threads and worksize didn’t help me at all on Nvidia and AMD GPUs
You should hear the sound of the Quadro for a 3.23 sols/s …
i7 4790 3,6 GHz 16GB RAM Windows 7 - nheqminer 0.2a - 24 sol/s.
I hope you like!.
@Quent17: 24 Sol/s!? I’m getting only half that number on exactly the same CPU and same miner under Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 14.04. Did you do something specific to get that figure? Can we have a screenshot?
I didn’t do anything. Here is the screenshot.
If you use the miner included in the RC2 it is normal because I don’t think it is fully optimized now.
You NiIcehash guys rock <3
Hitting 48.3 Sol on a 5960x @4.6 Ghz. More than double as fast.
No offense but I hope that someone forks this one as well so one can mine Zcash directly.
~18 Sol/s i5 6500 Nicehash miner with Xenoncat optimisations
This is not the same version as what is on the github repo. The github repo tag v0.2a doesn’t include the Xenoncat solver.
