This is crypto, you could never get it back if something happens or if they are an imposter.

zexcavator is a grant specifically targeted to the retrieval of wallet.dat

They definitively should try to help you. @zancas

There are also easier ways but itā€™d be better with the dedicated tool.

Iā€™m using Windows and have an old wallet from 2018 that I canā€™t access. I tried running the full Zcash server on Debian, and it showed my wallet balance, but the block synchronization progress didnā€™t increase at all after I left it idle for three day.

The community members told me how to open the tutorial, but it is very difficult for me who has no technical background.

Help me please!

unfortunately Zkool does not see any token when I import my seedphraseā€¦ it seems to be a common problem from what I see in this forum

Hey, zexcavator currently supports zecwallet .dat files, not zcashd. Iā€™m currently working on a zcashd db parser that will be integrated into zexcavator, but it still hasnā€™t reached MVP (that is, it is not able to show the relevant keys yet).

Are you sure itā€™s stopped? Whatā€™s the block height?

There was a spam attack awhile back and whenever itā€™s syncing though those blocks it slows way down. Donā€™t kill it and restart because it will take longer.

hi, can anyone tell whats the version, version_group_id and consensus_branch_id for constructing mainnet txns? I used 5, 0x26A7270A and 0x4DEC4DF0 as respectively for testnet and txn went through perfectly. Mainnet fails with {'code': -25, 'message': 'failed to validate tx: WtxId("private"), error: transaction did not pass consensus validation: transaction uses an incorrect consensus branch id'}.
Please help me out, i am stuck and canā€™t seem to find the correct values.

I would suggest trying Zkool and eZcash first.

Hi. I would please need help because Iā€™ve sent USDC to the right CA but via the wrong chain (BSC instead of BASE), I would like to please have it refunded to resend it and buy Zcash with it via the BASE chain as I meant to. I have the transaction ID to show the transfer if you need it.

This was a CDN issue, which has now been resolved. The backing apt repo was correct, and you should now be able to update.
