Recently i had some thoughts about whether adding a new exchange should/must/could/may have a positive impact by default and i came to the conclusion that it’s not always necessary a positive thing nowadays. I think the positve effect only holds true nowadays if there is a huge demand for a given crypto currency. If there is no huge demand it literally doesn’t matter anymore these days. Just my observations and conclusions.

Even if Zcash will make a breakthrough in blockchain tech it will not give expected effect in awareness or price in one moment, it should be constant work. New tech will be shared with other projects who will implement it and with bigger community they will magnet new users to their projects by critical mass. So ZEC with high probability will be somhere in scince journals but not like a business model.

I have the same opinion for a long time, what is the value of zec and how they with this approach want the work to continue (to continue, it is necessary to develop the use of increasing value and price)

But what if this something is still missing, and am I right? I would like to have a tool to achieve anonymity on the web, but what I see will not lead to the result that I expect in my opinion. Everyone says that this year everything will change, and so every year.
Everyone can try as much as they like, but if the team does not go to the goal everything will be in vain, why do you need a halo now specifically for you? What is missing in the current version of the protocol in order for it to provide the plan? It seems to me that the team should focus on the answers to such questions and not come up with what they think people need (the wrong economic model - let’s come up with the best hair comb on the palms and feet and convince people that hair will grow back, and not come up with a real way online anonymity.

I am not surprised as recently some DNM have implemented it. One of them is exclusively dealing with XMR, an uptick in use was to be expected imo - this Monero based market is becoming quite a large one compared to its competitors and has better uptime than older ones. Majority of people still do not understand the bigger picture and are simply following the crowd there. Meanwhile, Zcash is being integrated into payment systems like Flexa and can actually be used in the real world. ZEC will have its time as the space matures, If vendors were really smart they would take advantage of this situation and load up on cheap ZEC while earning XMR. Its only a matter of time before holes are found in XMR and they flock to the superior technology (Zcash Network). May take several years but I believe one day it will happen.
