Other then a random spike around release time it doesn’t look like there is a significant increase in Google searches for Zcash according to google trends.

Another metric I’m curious about is how many viewers join Zcash community-related social media channels like the Telegram Community and Zcash Community Forum. @Shawn have you seen an increase in new users joining the forum during the past week?
Last week when the first video was released there was a spike in page views , and today/yesterday another spike.
Same with sign ups, average is 2-3 per day, video release days saw 4-6 new users per day.
Interesting. So we mainly saw an increases in crawlers? What does that usually represent? More links in? More searches?
Web crawlers are usually Google, Bing, etc… indexing content on a site.
If new content is posted, and someone like Google sees a big uptick in links/traffic/cookies coming/going from Twitter/YouTube whatever to the forum, the algorithm sends more crawlers/more often to index a site, so it can show better search results to users later.
Historically, this is the time of year that things start to pick up on the forum, weird huh?!

Yep, according to the Arborist call, the updated NU5 activation target is May 31st.
