Same here. About 800 on my 470.
That’s a really, really high power consumption. Do you have free electricity? If not, you might want to think about the additional electricity cost vs additional hash rate.
That’s actually the GPU chip only add +50w for the PCB
Cheap electricity.
The cards eat up about 135 watts on average.
I’m not paying electricity. But I would like to mine other stuff in the future
I can either get 470rx 4gb for $244 each (yap, those are the prices here.)
or 280x for $168 each.
What is your opinion?
Go for a RX card.
Those use much less electricity and offer more headroom for improved miners.
As those get better, the performance difference will be even higher.
125 Sols/s on my 470s!
Are the R9 390s faster than 480s? Is it worth the extra cost?
First run with Claymore v6.0 - 155 Sol/s (-i 4)
What GPU and what ROM?
Which Card would you recommend for Mining, RX 470 or RX 480. Read contradictory reports where RX 470 is faster because of something. Also cheaper.
Plus what Model would you Recommend? 8GB? Is the Nitro+ worth the money for mining.
Total Noob with GPU Cards as i’m not a gamer.
Looking for a new one to to plug in a 4K in Future.
Thanks.
modded 480s now giving 150-160
modded 470s around 130
RX480 8GB is most efficient (lower power)
I’m getting ~155 Sol/s STOCK
GPU seems to be bottlenecking and not mem anymore.
You guys got the same feeling? Time to remove mem straps?
What clocks are you guys doing best on?
Could you recommend one? There are so many models, Nitro, Lite Retail, Black Edition.
Nitro work really really well
i use nitro and xfx and the xfx are also pretty awesome, just order 2 more xfx 1338Mhz blacks today
i would go for the cheapest 470 i could find
