Staggered Elections for ZCG Committee

Hi everyone,

Zcash Community Grants (ZCG) has put together a plan for staggering elections.

One member plans to leave the committee voluntarily on June 30. We will hold an election for that spot and the newly elected member will serve a one-year term, thus staggering the elections for one spot. In the future, ZCG may decide to stagger one or more additional spots.

We are working with the Zcash Foundation on the precise dates for nominations/candidacy announcements and the election, and will follow up with more information soon. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or feedback.

ZCG will hold the election?

The Zcash Foundation will administer the election via a Helios poll with the Zcash Community Advisory Panel (ZCAP) selecting one candidate to serve on the ZCG committee. We plan to follow a similar process and schedule to the one used last year. Please see the below thread for additional details.
