The payment address in my account on zec.supernova it is Zcash address or a Bitcoin address? If Zcash then what Taddres or Zaddress?
May I make a suggestion for the dashboard? I’m pretty sure a lot of the miners in the pool use Poloniex. Could you put their current price on the page like you did for Bittrex? I think a lot of users would appreciate it. BTW thanks for all of the hard work man.

This is the version of the miner I download. https://github.com/str4d/zcash/archive/v1.0.0.zip - can you point me to the right version if this is not it?

Thanks. I was under the impression that the str4d miner should work as well. Isn’t Tromp’s solver more efficient? With the suprnova-nheqminer-fork I’m getting very low rates (0.3 Sol/s) on a m4.large EC2 instance. Am I missing something else?
UPDATE: After some time the rate went up to about 1Sol/s… so all seems good.
UPDATE: This works as well now!
Also the worker is not marked as active on the worker-page. Is there some latency perhaps?

Is auto payout not working anymore? I got two autopayouts already overnight but right now I am sitting over the threshold for a couple hours without a payout.
finally got mining with 8 290’s and 2 290x’s. getting around 220 h… does that sound about right??
Sounds good to me for those cards
Could anybody clarify how credits are calculated? Why do they seldom decrease over time??
Block reward is increasing over time. The coin is slowly ramping up to full block reward so it is getting easier and easier to mine larger amounts. If the pool hashrate stays the same then your reward would actually grow over time until the full ramp up. If pool hashrate increases faster than the reward then your share may decrease but I wouldn’t expect that the whole ramp up. Over time you should generally expect your reward to increase as the block reward increases. Full ramp up should be a couple days longer than a month.
If assuming the block reward change was the same for all, and supernova’s pool hashrate is increasing faster than flypools, would one currently receive greater return from flypool based on what you’ve just stated? I may be understanding this incorrectly.
Its the same as mining any POW cryptocurrency. Smaller pools means larger variance but your expected earnings long term should be the same either way. If you mine on a smaller pool you get a larger reward because your share of each reward is larger, but the pool earns rewards less frequently and with more variance (meaning a streak of good luck makes it look like you earn more but a streak of bad luck makes it look like you earn less). A larger pool gets more frequent blocks which means less variance but your reward per block looks smaller because your share of the reward is smaller. Long term variance will work itself out and your earning would come close to the same. All of this of course depends on pool fees and fairness and such too of course.
So basically you are choosing between more frequent and more predictable small rewards or less frequent and less predictable large rewards.
Thank you for clarifying this. ![]()
according to zcash mining calculator my 220h should get me about 0.4 zec over 24 hours???
Never believe a mining calculator. Never.
I’m not talking about reward: it’s about the total Earnings reported on my account. Sometimes they are reduced instead of increasing! How can that happen??
ya they assume no variance and no dif changes, not very useful for actual “what should i have gotten” calculations (to further illiterate for vect)
The only thing that should reduce your balance should be a payout. The dashboard page doesn’t always seem to reflect accurately (although mine doesn’t ever show a reduced number, it is either blank or correct for me - only goes to 0 after a payout) but the the manual payout section of the Edit Account page has always shown my confirmed balance accurately. But what you seem to be describing is what everyone who has used the nicehash pool has encountered so are you by any chance talking about the nicehash pool as opposed to the suprnova pool?
