I asked a couple of days ago about my miner repeatedly disconnecting and was wondering why you think that might be. I tried the different url you suggested I’ve tried fiddling with the settings and nothing works. It didnt used to do this. I also dont have this problem on different pools.
Hmm, please try zec-eu.suprnova.cc:2142 as stratum URL, there were some updated two days ago where the stratum was restarted two times during the day but everything should be fine since then
Well I must say I am very happy with PPLNS although I have added a new rig this system is much better for miners who stay with one pool, suprnova is a great pool that just got better thanks Ocminer for hard work and decision to change payment method was a good one for us
No problem here is bat file for Claymore you will get v9 from suprnova pool link is in help section
ZecMiner64. exe -zpool zec-eu. Suprnova. cc:2142 -zwal username. workername -zpsw i 6
i 6 is intensity settings choices are 1 to 8
Check out help section on pool for zclassic port number and change port to mine classic
Suprnova is a great pool and @ocminer the owner is honest, setup an amount you want to reach and your zcash will send to your wallet as soon as you reach that amount and you will receive an email confirming payment was sent, use a small amount first to make sure you have set everything up correctly then increase amount to what you want, you can watch your wallet fill up on suprnova dashboard and always know how much zcash you have and are earning, you can manually withdraw also, I have been using suprnova from start and never had a problem if you have any issues post here and Ocminer will fix it straight away
It’s always best to control your own funds so instal a wallet like jaxx or invest in a hardware wallet like nano s that’s what I use to store zcash of line or keep at suprnova and transfer to exchange when you want to cash out you can use wallet address from exchange so choice is yours
My own understanding is that orphaned blocks are initially accepted by the majority of the network, but are later rejected when proof of a longer blockchain is received that doesn’t include that particular block.
This means that a user could see a transaction as having one confirmation and then, if a longer blockchain was received that didn’t include the transaction, it could change back to 0 confirmations.
That just means a block was not accepted by the network, correct, but i’ve paid that block from my own pocket now, it should’nt appear as orphaned anymore
