Transaction issue

Hi all,

I recently sent 40 ZEC from my ledger Nano s to an Exchange deposit address.
Both on the wallet of the Exchange as well as Zchain explorer amount (balance) does not show up.
FYI normally a transaction is done in a few minutes but now it is hours and still no deposit.
My ledger nano S and Zchain inform me that there are multiple confimations of this send transaction …but balance on receiving end is not right.

Receiver address (Exchange deposit):

What is going on, It this network related, Ledger Nano or am I doing something wrong?

Pete

@Ecoinomical it may be useful to contact the exchange in question with the link from my explorer above (or to the tx id on it) so they can see what block it was in, etc to help them fix the deposit to your account with them.

Hi all,

The transaction did go through.

However I must add that my 40 ZEC was routed to another address and held there for about 12 hours.
When ZEC price had dropped to about 100 USD (from about 115 USD) it was released.
I could be issues on their side (wallets/servers etc)/ shakeout the weak hands tactic or something else.
Exchange in question was HitBTC.
Also FYI there was no response from their side regarding this + reading from others on the chatbox they had the same deposit issue.

So keep that in mind

Pete

them not crediting your account for that long is some shady BS

I won’t be using that exchange ever, thanks for pointing this out @Ecoinomical,not possible to control your own funds when exchange are acting shady.

yeah I usually use shapeshift to avoid nonsense like this and KYC/AML BS…I tend to only use exchanges for altcoins that aren’t on it
