Use a AMD card for mining on my Nvidia system?

Hey,
I recently upgraded my gaming PC from a AMD R9 280x to a Geforce 1070ti.
I heard that my old 280x is a decent mining card. Can I run it together with my Nvidia system? What drivers do I use and do not conflict with my Nvidia drivers?

Its an AMD card, it can’t use Nvidia drivers just like Nvidia gpu’s can’t use AMD drivers. There would not be a conflict

so I should just plug in my AMD card and install the regular AMD drivers?

You should install the drivers that correspond with the the GPU you are using for optimal mining results
