ok, it’s working now, but my Quadro card is being owned by the cpu… One day spent messing with Windows, VS, CUDA, etc to gain less than 2 Sols/s
so how are you running nheqminer without one ?
do you have a file called RunMe in your nheqminer folder
My CPU (i5 2310) get 12Sols/s and my GPU only get 7Sols/s
mate im gonna write a tutorial later on tonigjt. if you get it working awsome… if not ill message you when tutorial uploaded
Hey guys. I’m running version 0.2a with a GTX 1070 and get around 32-34 sol/s with my i7 4770k.
A) Is there a more updated version of the miner that I don’t know about? And with faster speeds?
B) Would I benefit from downloading these CUDA .dll’s you’re discussing? I have the latest drivers installed automatically on my card. Wasn’t sure if this just applies for older cards.
Thanks.
No, the CUDA dll that i have uploaded is the same of 0.2a miner, its for getting working on the 0.3a miner
Thanks. Is there any benefit from using the 0.3a version over the 0.2a if I make these changes?
On the 0.3a most nvidia GPU’s doesn’t work, so you need to use 0.2a miner
Sounds good. Thanks man.
I’m doing the same as of last night, works well, now I’ve also got another GPU. So advice is the same as Tylers, have one instance hogging your GPU, and another doing N-1 for your CPU where N is the thread count (so for 8 threads use 7).
I get 0 Hashes running CUDA on my GTX 770 under windows 10. I have tried also to run the 04b ocminer with the older dlls.
Any ideas?
nheqminer.exe -b -cd 0 -cb 12 16 -ct 64 128 -t 0

The cuda_tromp solver file is 3 times as big as usual. Thats strange can you explain what you have changed?
I have now downloaded the program fresh and executed it. Same result

Download latest cuda drivers
thise cards are old tho expect 5 sol/s
Thanks, recently I was installed this CUDA Toolkit. But installer not found my Visual Studio 2013 (already installed on my computer), and said, that some components will not work…
I’m in the same boat as well…
I’ve downloaded the latest CUDA (v8.0), downloaded the .dll as uploaded and put them in folder.
GPU is detected but running at 0 Sols/s. Running it with separate instance -t 0 -cd 0
if someone still have problems with older cards and cuda 8.0 - i compiled 3 days ago cuda_tromp for v0.4b and cards with cc2.x-cc6.2, you can give a try - http://chronx.pl/cuda/cuda_tromp_0.4b.zip , remeber to put option -cv 0
oh hey cheers for the info!
Turns out I’m just missing -cv 0
