Your NOT so daily 1080TI profit report

No they didn’t, they said they are going to look into it, and see if it makes since to change. They never once said we are forking to make Zcash ASIC resistant.

Sobering numbers for sure, and not even the crest of the wave yet.

Steady as she goes boys and hang on tight.

My 6x1080ti switched from ZEC to ETH/ETC much more profit now

A little something I threw together for the market speculation thread but is of interest over here also…

The short of it, mining earnings as represented by the Price-to-Difficulty ratio (earnings vs output) has decreased about 45% in the last month.

It’s not misleading… The pricing is for “STOCK” 1080ti… not over or under clocked

06/18/2018 the numbers are:

Thought since ZEC was close to “AL888” levels I would post an update

Profit for 1080TI (before electric) - Zec $1.39

Profit for 1080TI (before electric) - top two coins for the day

Raven - $1.70 (X16R Algorithm)
Motion - $1.66 (X16R Algorithm)

Profit for AMD R9 Fury on NiceHash (dagger-hasimoto)(before electricity) $ 0.83 – For today it is more profitable to mine dagger-hasimoto than Zcash per NiceHash with a R9 Fury

Yeah sorry, I had some difficulty with basic math today. Had a whole bunch of AMD cards in that calculation.

However, STOCK is not realistic. No one would mine ETH with a STOCK 1080ti.

Your numbers from 5/31/18 suggest you are using 51MHs for 1080ti ETH and not STOCK values.

There is no realistic way to possible list every single option(especially when the top two coins change so much). Some people overclock, some people underclock, so to keep it in the “KISS” format I post stock…

If you would like add that information as well for the 1080ti, please feel free to do so

It’s with the enlargement pill , now 1080 and 1080 ti perform well on Eta too.

In the past 1080ti cards have been crippled to mine ETH due to the memory timing. Even over clocking does little to increase the performance. This is due to Nvidia encrypting their BIOS so that it has not been possible to hack the memory timings to increase performance like can be done with AMD cards. However, you can now change the Nvidia 1080ti memory timing via software and get ~51Mhs on ETH. This does not require a BIOS hack and in my mind is better than what can be done with AMD cards.

This also has the added benefit of changing the power performance curve for the 1080ti to be more AMD like. There is little value in running a 1080ti at more than 150-175 Watts, as they already hit 51Mhs+ and you get very little more @ 250 Watts.
