A lot has happened since our last update on March 11. Here is a full breakdown of everything we have shipped, the milestones we have hit, and what is coming next.

Both channels continue to grow entirely organically with zero paid promotion. Since launching Zcash India we have grown from 0 to 115 on X and 0 to 119 on Telegram, all through grassroots community building and original content.

$150 Bounty Program - Completed
Our community bounty program has officially concluded. We launched with a $100 prize pool targeting the top 3 threads. After receiving 21 total submissions and carefully reviewing each entry across content quality, graphics, reach, originality, effort, and overall impact, we made the decision to increase the total prize pool to $150 by adding an additional $50 to reward the depth of participation from our community.

One developer also independently built a working project at https://zcash-delta.vercel.app/ to demonstrate Zcash’s underlying mechanism, which went well beyond what the bounty required and represents exactly the kind of builder engagement Zcash India was designed to create.
ZecHub Grant - Received

The grant covers two months of deliverable-driven work across three pillars:
IRL University Workshops One in-person workshop per month at a partner university. Each session covers zk-SNARK basics, Zcash’s privacy features, shielded wallet setup, and live hands-on testnet activity. Every attendee sets up a Zcash wallet during the session. Full post-event recaps with photos, aftermovie, attendance proof, and metrics will be published here on the forum.
Online Community Events One monthly online AMA or workshop session covering Zcash privacy technology, live Q&A, and community challenges. Open to all community members globally.
Content and Community Growth Continued original educational content on X and Telegram, Hindi-language explainers, wallet setup resources, developer quickstarts, and monthly bounties to sustain community momentum.
What is Coming Next
Our first IRL offline event is being finalized for April 2026. This will be a landmark moment for Zcash India - our first in-person event bringing Indian university students face to face with Zcash’s privacy technology, live wallet setup, and hands-on testnet activity.
