Hello Zcash community,

As the Zcash Türkiye team, we are pleased to present our new proposal covering the third and fourth quarters of 2026, as well as the year 2027. For more than two years, we have been part of the community and have been actively working to contribute to the ecosystem. We have completed our reporting under our previous proposal.

Starting from the end of 2026, during the one-year period covering 2027–2028, we will continue our monthly activities with the same discipline and consistency without requesting any funding.

Thanks to the support we received for the formation of Zbase, we are in the process of building a sustainable structure. We aim to complete this process smoothly and fully implement it.

We would like to thank all community members who have supported us throughout this journey. We continue to develop new projects. Zecmap is currently the most significant example of this. In the upcoming period, we will continue to contribute to the community with the same consistency as we have over the past two years, by developing new and diverse projects.

By combining Türkiye’s high interest in cryptocurrencies with Zcash’s advanced privacy technology, we aim to educate people about this innovative project and encourage its adoption. Since the last quarter of 2024, we have been actively carrying out our work and continue to move forward with consistent progress. It is evident that the emphasis on privacy has not yet been fully established among Turkish-speaking communities. A lack of awareness in financial and investment matters, along with increasing regulatory oversight, are among the key factors influencing this situation. This gap hinders Zcash’s adoption and limits its visibility in a region with significant cryptocurrency activity. Social Media Regular and engaging content will be produced for the Turkish community across platforms such as X, Telegram, Instagram, and similar channels. Through visuals, short videos, and informative posts, the latest developments in the Zcash ecosystem will be shared, community interaction will be encouraged, and stronger engagement with Zcash will be fostered. Community Management All major developments, announcements, and updates within the global Zcash ecosystem will be translated into Turkish in real time and shared with the community. In addition, community members’ questions will be answered, technical and general support will be provided, and a healthy and inclusive communication environment will be maintained. Translations Efforts will be made to provide Turkish language support for applications and documentation that are widely used globally but currently lack Turkish translations. (Turkish language support has been proposed for Zashi and feedback is pending. The Turkish translation of the Zingo wallet has been completed.) These efforts aim to lower entry barriers to the Zcash ecosystem. ### Dependencies Our community is not dependent on external entities. ### Technical Approach Telegram: We will provide Turkish-language support to the existing Zcash Türkiye community as well as to new members who join us. One thing that stood out to me is the focus on sustainability

Many community initiatives can deliver activity while funding is available, but building something that can continue contributing without ongoing grant support is much harder

It’s encouraging to see the intention to move toward a self-sustaining structure while continuing to build resources and projects for the ecosystem.

Looking forward to seeing the next phase of Zcash Türkiye and the impact of initiatives like Zbase and Zecmap.

Zcash Türkiye Report (19.06.2026 – 19.07.2026)

In line with our defined responsibilities, we have continued publishing content on X. We consistently share three posts per day and work diligently to deliver the latest developments directly to the community. (On some days, the number of posts may decrease to two.)

As a team, we are actively working to add new businesses to Zecmap. We reach out to businesses already listed on other merchant maps and explain the benefits of accepting Zcash as a payment method. We conduct this outreach through X, WhatsApp, Telegram, and email.

Zecmap is a map that lists businesses accepting Zcash payments. We are also building partnerships within the community to expand the ecosystem. We recently met with the Zodl team and requested an integration that would allow users to see where they can spend Zcash through Flexa-enabled merchants. These discussions are ongoing.

In addition, we are in contact with Trevor from Flexa, and we recently received an email confirming that they will soon provide details about new merchants across Europe.

Another project we’re working on is Zec App.

Zec App is designed to be an all-in-one platform where users can access everything related to Zcash in a single application. Development is progressing well, and we’re approaching the final stages.

Instagram

We continue to publish our content on Instagram using the same consistent approach.

Our publishing schedule remains steady and never drops below our standard. We share a minimum of two posts per day, resulting in around 60 up-to-date posts each month covering a wide range of topics across the Zcash ecosystem.

Telegram

We are currently in discussions with the local communities we met during IBW regarding a series of Telegram events. Preparations are underway for X announcements and Telegram Q&A sessions. These events will be organized as joint collaborations between two different communities and will include rewards for participants. Official announcements will be made soon.

As a team, we continue to dedicate significant time and effort to both our ongoing initiatives and the projects we plan to launch through Zcash Türkiye and Zbase. With a team of approximately 9–10 people, we are fully aware of the responsibility that comes with representing and growing the community.

Starting at the end of 2026, our goal is to transition toward a more independent and sustainable operating model. Every step we take and every initiative we pursue is aligned with building a strong, long-term foundation for the community.

We also plan to document this journey in a detailed video series. We’ll share our experiences from the very beginning, including what worked well, what didn’t, what we’ve learned, and where we believe greater focus is needed to build a sustainable ecosystem and stronger community partnerships.

During the first quarter of 2027, we scheduled both in-person and online meetings with 13 different teams and communities, and these discussions are still ongoing. Rather than treating this as a one-time effort, our goal is to establish an ongoing community tour across Türkiye.

Throughout 2027, you’ll see the Zcash Türkiye team actively participating in events, collaborating with local communities, and focusing on the gatherings that create the greatest impact. The reason we haven’t shared every detail yet is that many of these initiatives are still in the planning and execution stages.

As always, we continue to share our metrics transparently with the community. At the same time, we’re working on several key initiatives behind the scenes. If these plans come together as expected—and we’re optimistic they will—we believe 2027 will be a transformative year for the Zcash ecosystem in Türkiye. Our goal is to represent the community at events almost every week throughout the year.

The connections we’ve built through the events we’ve attended—and those we’ll attend in the coming months—are essential to achieving this vision. Establishing partnerships with university clubs and securing collaborations for future events has been one of our most important accomplishments this year.

We submitted a retroactive grant request for Zecmap. One of the main reasons for this is to carry out further initiatives that can help take the Zecmap ecosystem to the next level.

The emails we send, the 3–5 days of communication we sometimes have with businesses, and all the effort we put into growing Zecmap are part of our long-term goal of building and moving forward with a strong culture.

We don’t see Zecmap as just a map, but as a living ecosystem that can help make Zcash more useful in everyday life.

We will continue working toward this goal, and we will make it happen.

Rlay Hub Event Report

The event report will be published under a separate topic on August 21, 2026. Nevertheless, we would like to share some important information here.

We had a great experience during the three-day event. We had the opportunity to meet many students and developers, exchange ideas, and make new plans for the future.

As part of the event, we organized a 48-hour mini hackathon, during which a total of 10 projects were submitted. The details of these projects will be shared separately in the event report.

In addition, we gave a presentation introducing Zcash and explaining how participants can get involved in the ecosystem. During the presentation, we also had the opportunity to explain the differences between shielded and transparent transactions on the blockchain.

We believe that direct, face-to-face communication with people at events like these is one of the most effective ways to introduce the Zcash ecosystem and attract new users.

As a result of the event, more than 30 new wallet downloads were recorded. Every user who downloaded a wallet was sent $5 worth of Zcash as a gift. Through this initiative, we aim to help new users discover Zcash and make their first shielded transactions.

The past month has been really busy for us, but just as enjoyable.

As the Zcash Türkiye team, we continue to create content, connect with the community, grow ZecMap, and introduce Zcash to more people through events such as Rlay Blockchain Week.

In the coming period, we will continue on the same path, working to reach more people with the Zcash ecosystem and build a stronger community in Türkiye.

We still have a lot of work to do.

It is encouraging to see a longer-term regional plan that combines education, community activity, and ongoing reporting.

For a multi-quarter program, will the team distinguish between event attendance, wallet onboarding, first shielded use, and longer-term community retention in its public reports?

Making those stages visible could help the wider Zcash ecosystem compare which local formats are most effective and allow other regional organizers to reuse what works.

Hello everyone, and greetings from a new reporting period.

We’ve just completed a month in which we truly understood how important the foundations of progress are. We have some exciting and encouraging news for us. Reaching the point where we are finally capable of achieving what we have been trying to build makes us very happy.

Before the formal report, we wanted to share this update with you. We would also really appreciate hearing feedback from everyone who reads it.

For more than two years, the Zcash Türkiye team has been reaching out to universities, local event venues, and exchanges, but our efforts repeatedly ended without results.

The reason was simple: Zcash is a privacy-focused project. We experienced this many times.

However, thanks to our recent efforts and our team working behind the scenes to continuously arrange meetings and build relationships, we now want to take a new path.

Zcash Türkiye University Tour

This will not be a series of ordinary university visits.

We are planning events together with the blockchain clubs of universities, creating a structured program where students can learn about Zcash, privacy, financial freedom, and the broader ecosystem.

We are currently working on the planning process.

Here is a short list of universities where we have already held meetings and received approval:

In addition, we have discussed introductory Zcash ecosystem events with more than 10 other universities.

Before finalizing the details, we are very happy to announce that we have now reached out to and received approval from 28 universities across 13 different cities.

This means that Zcash Türkiye has reached a point where we can potentially collaborate with 28 universities around topics where financial freedom and privacy are increasingly important.

Of course, this initiative will come with costs — transportation, team expenses, merchandise, small ZEC balances for participants, and other operational expenses.

Because of this, we are currently considering whether we should include all of these universities in the first round of the tour or start with a smaller initial program.

We will also submit a funding proposal through ZCG for this tour.

We will finalize the details soon and publish a separate forum post with the full plan.

We’re continuing to post short-form videos actively. Our channel was flagged for a violation, so we sent an email to find out the reason. Even though we haven’t made any financial recommendations or promotions, YouTube’s AI moderation system flagged our channel for a violation.

We continue to actively engage with the community. Recently, we did some cleanup and removed a number of bots and deleted/inactive accounts from the group. We’ll continue to carry out this filtering regularly.

We continue to actively develop both Zecmap and Zecmarket. We are working on the Zecmarket platform to build a marketplace dedicated specifically to Zcash.
