The strange thing is that Nicehash pool verificator it show Flypool as “OK”
@peter_zcash i have a 7 day old ticket transfer request ( https://ethpool.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/1983). Could you give me an eta on the processing?
Accidentally 2 workers show 0 Hash/s and 0 Sol/s. I’ve restarted them several times but problem remains. They were configured according to flypool guide and have no problem with internet connection. The rest of workers are ok.
@peter_zcash I aslo have 7 day old ticket transfer. https://ethpool.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/1976 Can you please resolve it! The price of ZEC at that time was 1.6 BTC!
Sorry for the delay in regards to the two tickets. We have now addressed both of them. They got lost because of the large amount of tickets created during the initial Zcash launch.
i thought nicehash itself is a pool… as is flypool.
nicehash is a pool and you can also buy hash.
oh it sounded like you yourself were trying to mine flypool from nicehash
I just received email from nicehash
When connection is made from NiceHash to the pool, the pool must provide a difficulty at least 15. If lower difficulty, then order is dead. Please open a ticket at zcash.flypool.org and ask them to check if their pool is compatible with this requirement.
Hi Peter,
I cannot connect to your pool using nicehash, below is Nicehash replied email. Is it compatible or can it make it compatible?
“When connection is made from NiceHash to the pool, the pool must provide a difficulty at least 15. If lower difficulty, then order is dead. Please open a ticket at zcash.flypool.org and ask them to check if their pool is compatible with this requirement.”
We have currently no intentions to modify our standard difficulty only because one service is not able to deal with it. We might add another high difficulty port in the future.
We have temporarily disabled payments while we upgrade the pool to Zcash version 1.0.2
Edit: It will probably take ~2 hours for the Zcash wallet to finish re-scanning the last 1000 blocks. The performance of the wallet is extremely poor at the moment.
We have completed the update to Zcash version 1.0.2 and unfortunately transactions from a z address to a z address are still broken and fail with again another error.
We have created another issue for this problem: z_sendmany error: Witness for spendable note does not have same anchor as change input · Issue #1823 · zcash/zcash · GitHub
From our point of view it is really disappointing that the only distinct feature of Zcash is not working properly.
Meanwhile I have one successful transaction to my wallet after mining to z-address at your pool. Is that a miracle?
Yeah we were able to sent one or two tx but in a way that is not feasible for mass payments.
Good day
I have been asked to contact the creators of flypool by a group of investors on the South African Mining scene, how might i go about getting in contact with you guys away from the public forums?
Let me know
ZAMiner
I just joined, 700 s/s. 4 times per hour for each miner the past 2 hours I am getting the following. I’m using nheqminer xenoncat for CPU on 41 CPUs.
Rejected share #283 (Stale job!)
On a 21 S/s machine this means about 2.5% rejected. On my 8 Sol/s machine it means 7% rejected. Your web site says 0% rejected. Can you explain this and suggest a fix?
For other readers: flypool’s calculated H/s for me seems as good as nanopool and what I expect within my margin of error, so I am not sure there is an actual deficit in what I could or should be getting. 24 hour payout today should be
3.4 ZEC/block x 576 blocks/day x [your S/s rate] / [network S/s] where network S/s looks like 8.5 M today, 9 M yesterday. S/s ~ 55 x difficulty
Why eu1 pool the diff is only 500H, but on asia1 the diff is increase to 1000H, does it reduce my earning if I choose asia1 server?
Diff has no impact on your income. We are currently transitioning the pool from 500 diff to 1000 diff because of the increased efficiency of the available mining software.
So what is exactly diff ?
