Zcash self custody. SLIP39

I"m realizing that Ledger is not reliable because it’s not open-source.

Trezor is open-source and compatible with Ledger (generally) unlocking with the 24 seed phrase and can migrate some crypto, blessing in disguise. Zec is one of them.

Please let me know your input.

I am still into self custody and will use a workaround for some privacy. If i use Trezor for this plan, with the use of Wallets such as Electrum, Sparrow and other wallets that use SLIP39 interoperable code, it will be safe to say, that even if Trezor Suite crashed, I’ll still be able to recover Zec using SLIP39 20 words seed phrase?

For me to achieve some privacy, I’ll have send Zec to Zashi from Trezor, consolidate and shield, send funds to a shielded address in Zashi and from there I can start a private transaction?

If all is good on my plan, my only remaining question is what other Wallet I can use as good and friendly to use besides Zashi?

You can browse wallets here. Try selecting the features you want on the left menu :+1:
