Computer resets Claymore AMP GPU mining 1 GPU

I just built a new rig and the computer resets every 15 mins or so … what could make this happen?

you can not just put a question out like this, WE need so much more information than you have given… It’s like asking someone to give detailed instructions on how to put a shirt on (think about how many different shirts there are).

windows, linux,
version of claymore, how many gpus, driver version, copy of your config, etc

Radeon 470 8GB

500 Watt PSU … the GPU was getting quite hot to the touch so I downloaded Afterburner and set the fans to 100% … now it stays cool

all of this is great info… try this config, ( -tt 75 ) this should stop your card from getting above 75c, overheating (killing) the card and rebooting

put the fan back at auto too…

Thanks this worked like a treat … just the information I was looking for, my GPU was getting too hot and rebooting my computer, now thru the options in Claymore’s miner I can slow down the mining as to not overburden my GPU. Thanks again!
