Hello BTC Community
i decided to join the mining world and start with gpu mining.
Budget: around 10k€ (but i want to spend it “slow”)
my Plan: i was thinking to build my first mining rig, configure it, optimize all settings and see how it goes. If it fits my expectations i will stock up.
electricity cost: 16 cent/khW (i might switch my provider wich will safe me around 1-2 cent)
MOBA: ASUS Prime Z270-P 121€
GPU:
6 x 1080 TI, 747,67 €
After long thinking, researching, planning, Exeling i desiced to go definitely NVIDIA. I have to say that actualy i would like to go on 6 x 1080 TI. (room space, heat, resale value and so on…) but here comes the Problem → PSU, Watt.
To be honest I am really not sure that i will use the stock 250W for mining so i will undervolt/clock and see how it goes. On the other side if i have such powerfull GPUs i want to try different Settings soi need enough power.
What options do i have here? 2 x PSU? Does it make sense? Is it possible that i might get difficulty here? (Driver problems, and so on?)
