@Genoil when i start the miner i see that it connects to this pool, the suprnova one: zec.suprnova.cc:2142, and using this worker 15:54:44 pool : authorized worker Genoil.SilentArmy, i did change the starat file to another pool and worker, why does it keep using the suprnova one??
Probably it is too early to ask but is there someone that have an idea on how to aggregate the mining output velocity of multiple rigs? Like a dashboard but local mining side, not pool side. I’m talking like awesome miner or something like that
Might be helpful for some people, but i’m getting much better result connecting to my mining rig using RDP or VNC and not directly with keyboard and monitor. Far less crashes and 0 S/s
I have some problems with Genoil’s last update on the flypool, one of my GPU (2xRX470) made 0sols after 5min. I must restart Genoil’s every time. Is it an GPU default or a bug issue ?
Indeed, all my rigs are headless and the 0S/s bug is there regularly, on v 0.5
It happens to some cards after genoil does reconnect after a (21) error. And it happens to all cards at the same time when e.g. the router is reconnecting every 24h to change the IP.
This should be easy to fix. And a loop should check the health of each card and restart it when it goes down.
I have 2 rigs on a static IP (never changes) 1 rig has been running 24hrs+ on Genoil 0.4.1 + Nanopool + restart script, the other one keeps dropping off every 3-4 hrs. The hardware and software is the same except the GPUs, one has 4xRX480s and the other 2x FuryXs (this one goes to 0 Sol/s).
Anyone have any good settings for the R9 290s? Mine keep crashing now. Finally got my RX 480s stable… figures haha!
Mem clock. Core clock. Genoil version?
yeah, but since cpu meant zilch for eth mining, most people bought Pentiums (G1840, G3258 or 60). Difficult to justify $170 outlay on i5 when zec staying power is unclear.
i couldn’t get stable on supanova. i have to stay on nanopool. it just keeps going. although the 1 rig with an old e7400 cpu is the one that occasionally stops
