Genoil's ZEC Miner

I run the A10 on 3 cores leaving 1 core for the GPU miner. On the i7 I run the CPU miner on 7 threads leaving one for the GPU.

anyone knows why I’m getting 0 Sol/s in all my GPUs ?

have seen as high as 53s/s(one card) with 8gb 470’s on a 2500k@4ghz… (with -k zec zec zec +/- a zec) haven’t seen over 36 with an Athlon II 445…

RX 470 8GB MSI, with Mod bios and OC

3 zecs doesn’t work for me as it doesn’t even get above 10S/s. Might be worth noting I’ve only got a RX480 4GB so it must need 8GB to run at top speed.

Just happened to me as well on all rigs at the same time. I guess this happens when router reconnects every 24h. Of course single cards also go to 0S/s from time to time when genoil is losing some connection to the pool and then reconnects. v 0.5

Bit of experimentation shows the mem maxing out with -k zec zec so you definitely need the 8GB model if you are going to run more than 1 instance

My miner keeps crashing (since 0.6)

FYI, -k zec zec on R9 Nano means 15% less S/s and 20% more power draw. Even though there is enough memory to run it. With v 0.5, not tried the latest. Stock ROM, just slightly undervolted core.

using GPU-Z to check I get about 2.2GB for 1 zec, 3.8GB for 2 zecs and no noticeable change in speed. 3 zecs just grinds to a halt.

Fiji GPUs seem to be dying on me every so often. It goes to 0 Sol/s then the GPU stays at 0% GPU usage unless I delete kernels and wait 30 seonds.

2xFury Xs die 3-4 times a day (1800 restart script)
2xFurys die probably 20-30 times a day (1800 restart script)
4xRX480s haven’t died for the last 24 hours (1800 restart script)

All running the same hardware and drivers par the GPUs but the Fiji GPUs are in the slots.

memory bios mod definitely helps a bit…my 4gb 470 can spike to 45s/s or so with the 2500k.(2 zec)
yeah, 3 zecs doesn’t work well with 4gb cards in the mix… which is my problem atm too

Guys when i start the miner i see that it connects to this pool, the suprnova one: zec.suprnova.cc:2142, and using this worker 15:54:44 pool : authorized worker Genoil.SilentArmy, i did change the starat file to another pool and worker, why does it keep using the suprnova one??

Interesting why the GPU miner uses so much memory as the CPU miner on 7 threads only uses just over 1GB. Will be interesting to delve into the source code and solver if I could ever find the time.

-k zec zec zec zec on RX480 8GB - Stock BIOS is working nicely @ ~34 S/s
Peaks as high as 42 S/s

Tromps solvers use 144mb per core

I think the CPU miner is the newer xenoncat solver but could be wrong

Xenoncat is just AVX enablers and something to do with better blake2b optimizations.

zec zec or more zecs is barely making any difference in the speed.

hey @Genoil, Can we get an Average Hashrate column in the output? Thanks!
