Zcash Ambassador Monthly Report
Reporting Period: February 2026
Ambassador: Elzz (@CQ_Elzz**)**
Introduction & Monthly Summary
February focused on structured contributor onboarding and ecosystem orientation.
This month was anchored by a 3-day virtual Contributors Workshop that provided clearer participation pathways for both creative and technical newcomers to Zcash. Attendance remained strong across all sessions, signaling demand for guided entry points into the ecosystem.
February also marked the first successful ZEC off-ramp transaction through the Pajcash integration initiated in January. While technical refinements are ongoing, this milestone represents early progress toward improving regional accessibility.
The emphasis this month was on clarity, structure, and forward movement across both contributor engagement and infrastructure development.

Key Initiative
1. 3-Day Zcash Contributors Workshop
The 3-day Zcash Contributors Workshop was designed to move participants from passive interest to structured participation within the ecosystem.
Rather than hosting a one-off session, this initiative created a guided onboarding environment where both creative and technical contributors could understand:
What Zcash stands for
Where they fit
How to contribute meaningfully
Over three days, participants were taken through:
Day 1 – Privacy Foundations & Ecosystem Context
Zcash history and mission
The importance of shielding
Understanding the broader privacy landscape
Day 2 – Creative Contribution Pathways (Facilitated by me)
Types of content needed in the ecosystem
How to engage on Discord and X
Visibility strategies
Identifying personal contribution strengths
Day 3 – Technical & Semi-Technical Pathways
Developer participation routes
Research and analytics opportunities
Technical writing contributions
The workshop format emphasized clarity and direction rather than abstract education.
2. Key Outcomes
Total registrations: 33
Average attendance across 3 days: ~30
New participants to Zcash ecosystem: ~20
Task completions (reward-qualified): 6
Additional observations:
Attendance remained consistent across all three days.
Engagement levels were high, with active participation and questions.
Several attendees requested follow-up workshops.
A mix of creatives and technical contributors participated, broadening ecosystem diversity.
While task completion rates were lower than attendance numbers, the workshop successfully introduced structured pathways for new contributors who previously lacked direction.
3. Community & Ecosystem Impact
This initiative contributed to the Zcash ecosystem by:
Creating structured onboarding for contributors
Bridging education with actionable participation
Reducing uncertainty around “where do I fit?”
Encouraging both creative and technical involvement
The workshop reinforced a key insight: interest is strong, but clarity accelerates participation.
4. Operational Execution
I moderated all three days and facilitated Day 2.
Facilitators were coordinated for each day’s focus area to ensure depth and credibility across privacy, creative, and technical discussions.
Managing attendance consistency across three consecutive days required structured scheduling, speaker coordination, and participant follow-up.
5. Areas for Refinement
The primary refinement area identified is improving post-session task completion rates.
Future iterations will explore stronger follow-up structures and accountability mechanisms to convert high engagement into higher execution.
6. Acknowledgements
Special thanks to @ZecHub for continued support in amplifying and backing contributor-focused initiatives.

Regional Ecosystem Infrastructure Progress
Following the onboarding conversations initiated in January with Pajcash, February marked the first successful ZEC off-ramp transaction through the platform.
This represents an early but important validation of regional accessibility efforts, demonstrating practical movement from discussion to real-world usability.
While still in early stages, this milestone signals progress toward improving ZEC liquidity and accessibility within the Nigerian market.
Next Steps
- Strengthen structured contributor onboarding by refining workshop follow-up and execution pathways.
- Expand regional ecosystem presence in Nigeria through a larger in-person onboarding session and deeper engagement with local developer networks.
- Support continued technical refinement and activation of the Pajcash ZEC integration to improve practical accessibility within the region.
- Maintain clear, strategic communication around Zcash developments to reduce friction between awareness and participation.
Conclusion
The priority remains consistent: reducing friction between interest and meaningful participation.
Structured orientation continues to prove effective in surfacing serious contributors, clarifying expectations, and reinforcing Zcash’s accessibility across different skill sets.
Early infrastructure progress signals movement toward practical accessibility in the region.
The focus moving forward is on strengthening both participation pathways and real-world usability, Ensuring that curiosity can translate into contribution and utility.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve the Zcash community and the continued support from everyone.
