You’re calling dj a noob with that math? Let me guess, you started mining for the first time three days ago. Dj coded lbc branches that I’ve personally used. Lyra2rev2 as well. You have no clue what you’re saying. Gtx 10xx cards have had the highest hash rates on almost every mined coin. Inside a month, possibly a week, the difficulty is likely to rise so fast your cpu will lose money due to rapid hash rate increases from optimized miners. You’ll see.
Shawn, how do you guys survive in a trading/market climate if you can’t withstand a little verbal sparring? Half the posts on here are whining, zero technical background, born-yesterday but now they know-it-all fifteen year olds with Dad’s old laptop.
already checked my build number and it turned out its from the new batch that is not affected , purchased my gtx 1070 1 month ago.it could never ever break 64c whatever i do , mining gaming etc and its overclocked to the max with 700+ mem and +220core
tim at ZP said his 120 S/s claim was highly dubious because in his screen-shot image it showed H/s at 7 while S/s was 130. He probably realized he goofed up and is too embarrassed to admit it in the thread.
~32 Sol/s with gtx 1070 overclocked with Nicehash miner is the best you can expect right now. Silentarmy and others are working on Nvidia support so hopefully we get an upgrade soon.
People lie about their hashrates all the time and its bad for everyone.
It makes the poster look stupid. It makes prospective buyers overestimate profits which leads to disappointment and higher network hashrate, which hurts everyone’s profits.
The guy obviously lied or made a mistake in his code, 120 sols is a 4x improvement. If it was real he could have released the miner with a 5% dev fee and been rich. Everyone would use it and 5% hashrate of all nvidia cards is much better than any private miner could offer.
Has he really not admitted that it was a mistake? Maybe he was just trying to scam some quick bitcoins from private investors.
rx 480 does 48-50~ , gtx 1070 has 2.5 more power so 120 is nothing increadible.i wount be suprised if gtx 1070 can hit 160170 with the right bios tweaks
cviper - I don’t think that is a good way to look at it. In pretty much every other algorithm the 480 is only slightly slower than 1070.
Jiggy - Check your CPU usage? It might be wrong but I thought I read that the zcminer hashrate wasn’t accurate. Maybe it reports wrong hashrate or its secretly using your CPU to mine too… A trick to get more people to use it and pay the 10% fee.
