wow 70 sol/s? i didn’t know that. for how long do you imagine?
i was actually already looking 7950s bcuz theyre selling for basically the same price lol

What do you mean how long? Constantly or maybe its 69Sol/s or so.
Either way these GPUs are old and already depreciated, you can buy one today and sell in 6 months for the same price. Computer hardware values are always good. Its like an iPhone pretty much. Or a classic Ferrari.
7950’s get no where near 70 sols, at least look it up before you come out with something so obsurb lol, my overclocked 7950’s get around 50 sols.
Mine get 70 Sol/s
20char
i mean, for how long will they perform at 70sol/s? nah, it’ll lose all of its value eventually, and probably not that long in the future
Until you shut them off, they will run forever.
Well unless the fans start dying.
…you do realize the difficulty of teh blocks increases as time passes, right?
or is the sol/s ratio independent of that? what i’m trying to get at: how profitable is 70sol/s right now? and how profitable will it be in, say, two months?
Don’t think it slows down with blocks. Only Tahiti/Pitcairn suffered that with ETH mining.
You can’t predict now much you will make in the future. No idea what price it will stablize at or how high the difficulty will grow.
Well, with Bitcoin the difficulty of blocks increases every so often. And isn’t Zcash based on Bitcoin? I’m fairly certain the same is true for Zcash, so obviously the cards become less and less effective over time. Hence, although the cards might mine at 70sol/s today, they might only mine at 10sol/s in a week…
No that doesn’t happen even in Bitcoin.
I think you mean difficulty and that’s not related to the speed.
what planet are you from?
That has nothing to do with the speed of one GPU. The GPU will always hash at the same speed or faster if its improved in the future.
Difficulty is based how many GPUs are mining out there in total and that you cant predict.
hence why i said the cards become less and less effective [at mining]… so the cards will always mine at 70sol/s, but this particular rate becomes less and less effective.
Yes but that’s common sense.
It’s not the GPUs fault. It’s like mining for gold, more people do it, less profit for everyone
just curious is english your first language?
