well a 6gb gives me 300 stock each and I heard a 3gb gives around the 280 stock
the 3gb gives more total sol/s but you need to do your own math how much you will pay for electricity and the returning cost.

No need to bios mod. Just download MSI Afterburner and set these settings.

Power: 87 (some go low but this is what works for me)
Clock: +212
Memory: +472
Fan: Auto

1060 3G/6GB. I got both and those settings work like a charm on either.
