Low sol rate on GTX 1070 MSI Gaming X

Hello,

So i’m in the middle of testing cards before I slap a load of money into a Zcash rig - Seems the ether rig I built with rx480 nitro+ cards were far easier to mod to their full potential.

Anyone with a 8GB 1070 (or even better the card I have) Have any pointers on the best way to get the most out of the 1070’s when mining Zcash?

thanks in advance for your help

I don’t have a 1070 but I have heard that they are really good hash rate for power usage and price. I personally overload cooling and then overclock to squeeze performance out of cards and then just set a temp limit in case something happens so my computer’s just stop mining instead of overheating.

According to this website here http://zcashbenchmarks.info you can expect 410 sol/s or 410 h/s from one 8gb gtx 1070.

I hope I helped!

I use the 1070 cards in the rigs above - will give you an idea of what I’m getting.

I am getting 450 sol/s stock. I overclock them and then remove power until its most efficient. Right now I get 460-470 on avg at 125w limit. I have 3 rigs with 6 1070 each.
