Miner- Claymore's Zcash Miner

A bit O/T but did you manage to get 5 cards running on that?

For now, even with this miner, mining profitability is not so good because of the high diff and low price

10% dev fee, holy sh’t wtf?

Dev fee is 2.5% not 10%…

@suno how you get 10%, from @claymore post:

This miner is free-to-use, however, current developer fee is 2.5%, every hour the miner mines for 90 seconds for developer.
If you don’t agree with the dev fee - don’t use this miner.

Claymore seems to use much less CPU compared to Genoil as well.

Hmm, this always stops working after DevFee mining… Seems still unstable.

Half of my rigs crashed during the night while the automatic reboot didn’t even work.
6 GPU rig of RX480 seems very unstable with claymore. It almost never happened with genoil ZEC miner.

I guess I must look into lowering voltage and clocks. They were all stock settings btw.

nope. I got 4 there. but its been claimed its possible…

all rigs stable for me. over 10 hours with no reboot. (and yes -r 1 is working well)
Dont use latest drivers! 16.9.1 is good

The hype on this minet is comedy … claymore saying 90 plus then releases it and its the same as genoil but you have to pay a fee . Very creative

Silent army 3 is the silent winner here and im glad its that way

I up to 51-53 sol/s on r9280x with this miner. On genoil I get big swings from 34-43. Havent tried latest silentarmy release though.

Thank you claymore for almost doubling everyones hash rate. Making a stable miner so every kid can mine. Doubling the hash rate of pools and doubling the difficulty, while also not to forget halving the price of 1 ZEC.

Was more fun when only genoil was out the price was at 2 BTC and only people with at least a fraction of brain could run 24/7 with powershell scripts.

HOW?
modded bios?
can you share your clocks?

Hello can anyone help with this problem,i have 4xrx480 nitro+ oc 8gb cards, all fine since few hours ago, then miner screen got black, needed to hard reset, and after startung up claymore miner got these GPU RETURNED INCORRECT DATA message, any ideas what to change, add?

Yes modded. Modding depends per card, on how will it respond to overclocking and undervolt. I have same cards but different clocks and voltage. Take a look @ this http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php/742409-Easy-undervolting-guide-for-79xx-and-R9-280X-cards.

A lot of trial and error. You can download modded bios by stilt, there’s a google drive on that floating around.
You have to tighten your timings first then push the card until it crash. The settings before the crash is your limit. There’s also a tutorial on that.

Payments were fixed recently, you’ll get them for sure

Claymore vs Silentarmy v3,who is the best on linux ?

you need to mod your bios, there’re plenty of guides floating around.
Just like the most I’m using timings from 1500 MHz for all higher frequencies.
for me it all runs on very low voltage - 850mv, you need to be careful here, especially with the card that drives display - it can freeze on you (no soft reboot option)
for ETH I clock memory at 2000 (it results in 28-29MH dual mining).
ZEC needs more stable mem (more writes as it seems) so 1800-1900 for 470 and 1900-2000 for 480
do mind that settings may differ from card to card, as quality of the silicon is variable.
EDIT: cores are below 1100 MHz
