If you follow the link from cryptomined, u should use the “Debian-Way”
It is easier to install and easier to update.
Hey Optiminer how is testing going with v 0.7.0 I am not looking for a release time just some information regarding your performance goals with latest gen cards, would make sense to release when you feel Optiminer is number 1 again, we have faith in your abilities and looking forwards to your miner been the fastest again

Anyone using --log-file “logs/zec.log” parameter and getting this sigsegv?? It seems to only start after I added that --log-file param. I’m going to remove and run for a couple days to confirm.

Ok guys, thanks for all the help, got my two drone pc’s mining and GUI wallets up and working fine, but is there a way to mine to a pool this way? I hate seeing all these hps with no balance since diff is so high and mining solo from pc will get me nowhere. Would love to join a pool if possible from existing box??

It is NOT OK for you to post any link to the software anywhere. You cannot redistribute it
Be patient and wait for optiminer to upload the version he feels comfortable with.

I never saw any actual license in the file itself or online. so if I want I can and will redistribute it.
next time include the actual license in the readme.
anyways he should want people using ver 6 as almost all users are going to pay the dev fee regardless… so he should want that dev fee…

Then use v6. The new v9 version is no faster than v6, but it does have a bit more stable stratum connection and more security for the dev fee - that’s about the only difference, at this point.

optiminer v9 or did you mean claymore v9?
They probably got v9 direct from optiminer.
Thanks for clarifying though. It would make no sense to use v6 because i would be mining with approx 200 sols less than claymore v9.

Opti gave me a preview of his next release (it was labeled v9) because I was having some stability issues.
