network H/s has gone down since he announced. People are having trouble with it. The was not the case with claymore. It went up immediately. Nanopool and flypool are still flat.

I don’t think it’s because they have trouble, more probably

  1. people enjoy their WE
  2. It’s only linux
  3. Some are troubled because it’s an unknown newcomer.
  4. Zcash Price is low thus miners switched

I am pretty sure that silentarmy will catch up to this very quicky. There are 30+ forks of silentarmy, and mbevand seems to be browsing them all and implementing the best optimizations, as well as stacking them with his own.

i dont even think reverse-engineering is what drives the progress. The fact of just KNOWING that a hashrate is possible is what causes people to get to work.

I do not think it is little either.
It gives him ~1000$/day at current speed.
I think asking miners not to reverse engineer it is a bit too much,
but if you removed devfee for yourself do not share your ‘solution’ like some moron.

IF… That being said, you can use someone elses code and rewrite it so it looks a bit different and still does the same thing. Solutions are all there, majority of the work is done for you.

I use costum rom. Basically ether roms out there will do the job. :slight_smile:
