im not sure, but I know KDE desktop cause me some problems installing some things so i just use the default ubuntu unity
worst part for me is now ubuntu is failling to recognize my 7 GPUs at most it will see 6… I think Claymores Crap might have killed one of my GPUS!!! was all working fine everytime before my system crashed while running clarymore V1.1 linux… I realllly dont like that guy anymore
Hm, I was thinking about 14.04 aswell, but on the AMD download page it just mentions 16.04 as supported. Didn’t find any posts about installing this driver on 14.04
16.04 gpuamd-pro 16.30 worked great
id say 16.40 also but after using claymore one of my GPUs is either dead or the riser is…
so cant comment after installing that just now after reinstally ubuntu to see if his miner just screwed up ubuntu - but nope - definetly hurt some of my hardware… crap copycat claymore… christ
Haha. lol, i dont like stealing right off, but use a small part of something aint i calling stealing.
U are talking 2 much over this when u dont have all the facts.
didnt change clock speed, fans were running fine before, no problems… one major crash, froze up my system while testing claymores miner - litterally a minute or two after starting his miner
first time that has ever happened
probably wont happen again considering we probably wont ever see a superior miner from someone that needs to steal code to get it off the ground in the first place
