Hello Mining and Crypto fans,
I have been working in Mining and Crypto-Area for almost 6 months.
I will create regular mail for the Crypto-Currency field.
Here is my first mining guide for ZEC with the EWBF 0.3.4b Miner.
Download Miner EWBF 0.3.4b → EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner
-
This guide is for advanced miners
-
For beginners some tips are integrated
-
If your Rig has crashed or a bug, the following error is usually displayed: “stopped gpu code: 46”, will be restarted after a maximum of 5 minutes with the following commands from the EWBF Miner without any intervention by yourself.
-
Never again having a night crash from the rig is something nice and soothing the nerves.
:restart
TIMEOUT 8
miner --server eu1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user t1UecXTCCwJ7JqbQDL2SqzmRGQeNYvXT2Zr.rig0 --pass x --eexit 3 --log 2 --logfile ZCASH.%date:~6,4%%date:~3,2%%date:~0,2%.ewbf.log --pec
goto :restart
-
–logfile → you get a logfile in the folder
-
I got 6 Rigs @ 7 and 8 gpus

mobo - Asus ROG Strix Z270F Gaming

on all motherboards, make sure → last bios update is on, Above 4G decoding is on and onboard graphics and sound is disabled
For a rig I have an ASRock H110 Pro BTC + Mainboard, there I have roughly ~ 10Sol / s per graphics card less Hashpower

psu - 2400 Watt Power Supply Kit for GPU Mining 94% Use it for 2 rigs, 14-16 graphics cards and a few USB risers

In addition a few 700-800 watt power supplies
A maximum of 2 USB risers should be controlled via SATA per one cable harness, better per cable harness 1 USB riser -
In the worst case I can restart my rigs from the smartphone, either via Teamviewer or via an adapter from TP-Link - this must be activated in bios “bios ac power loss” and the adapter must be connected to the power supply of the supplying motherboard.

Windows creators update should be installed https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/help/4028685/windows-10-get-the-fall-creators-update
-
Windows update disabled - Deaktiviert means disabled
-
task plan nearly all disabled - Deaktiviert means disabled
-
Daily automatic restart of the rigs (A linkage of the batch file in the Autostart folder is required for the automatic start of the rig or the mining program EWBF 0.3.4b)
-
Here you see the most common error - “a gpu stopped with code: 46”
-
After about 3-5 minutes the miner starts again and works perfectly
-
After a maximum of 5 minutes, continue with the mining
-
Here you can see my little mining farm
-
My Zec wallet I have at https://www.cryptonator.com/ and, of course, an additional hardware wallet from Ledger (is absolute obligatory in the Crypto range) https://www.ledgerwallet.com/
-
I mine on the following pool → https://zcash.flypool.org/, you also see that I have no failures.
The 7th rig is my test PC and the other failure is due to changes of settings.
-
How a rig is built:
The angle bars / angle profiles are available in each building market near the river and floor section for about 4 € / m.
Instead of the wood on the upper level, I used metal cabinet pipes.
For the floor I got a metal plate 40cm * 60cm from the hardware store (6 €)
For more stability, if the rigs go on a trip, I recommend nuts with nuts, not self-tapping screws. -
The painted red lines do not have to be built, they are completely unnecessary.
As you can see on my photo of the Mining farm, I have also built a rig with redundant angle bars.
