Zcash Nvidia Build

There is nothing to indicate definitively about the 1080 Ti, just rumors. This article makes mention of it though:

We have to take all of it with a grain of salt because as can be seen here, even those who write the articles tend to skew things. I know you weren’t stating anything as fact, I was just engaging in conversation

Im trying to put a deposit on one or 2 to ensure I get some, so let’s wait and see

@cryptomined yep will def be checking your channel out for initial results, but as with all new release cards I don’t expect too much wowing until the bios tools came out similar to what happened with the rx 570/580s; except for a bump in hash rate.

@nekkidtruth - sorry my friend didn’t mean to come off brash if I did. just trying to plan for my expensive power farm upgrades and looking for all articles to try and develop a best educated guess for now before I go out and start hoovering up all the 1070/1080/1080ti that I come across at rock bottom prices.

Happy mining all!

vega sounds like its going to be impossible to get… rumored only 16000 pieces globally at launch… thats like nothing… when sony released 200,000 PS2’s they sell out in an hour.

Yeah I expect them to be rare for a while, especially with those using r9 290/x r9 390/x finally able to upgrade their cards to a comparable platform.

sorry i mean’t 16000, and they say 20000 in the first couple months

Hello, can someone here confirm that biostar tb250 btc motherboard does support 6 gpu nvidia? Everywhere I look I can see that amd is working but no confirmation about nvidia 1070/1080 cards.
I will appreciate any input into this here. Thank you.

Def works with nvidia.

Have two 6 1070 rigs with this board  easy setup.

I am having trouble with a fifth GPU on my tb250. I see here that you have a couple of them running. I was hoping you might be able to help me out.

This is what is happening. The miner performs fantastic with 4 cards but when I add a fifth card only 3 cards are running. The 2 cards that are not mining show up in the device manager with code 12 - not enough free resources. I running EWBF’s miner in Windows 10.

This rig consists of the following -

CPU G4400 Skylake 1151
Biostar TB 250
4 gb RAM
4 x MSI 1070 8gb Armor , 1 x MSI 1070 gaming 8gb (all on powered risers)
EVGA 1000 P2
120 gb SSD
Windows 10 64 bit Pro Version 1703 (just updated)
I just changed the PCI-e to Gen 2. That was no help.

I ran into a similar problem with RX 570’s and never quite figured out the driver patch until I watched Cryptomined’s video. By then I had already switched over to ethOS. Which by the way runs fantastic. To bad there is no support for Nvidia with it. I have 4 rigs running that presently. Rig5 is the first Nvidia rig and today is the first time I have had more than 4 cards.

If you could point me to a link or thread or anything I would really appreciate it.
