Wow, my hashing dropped by half! oh, more now. Did something happen?
VARDIFF has been disabled, because the Silentarmy kernel doesn’t handle it properly and produces a sh*t storm of bad shares. All those rejected shares were swamping the pool. So, the pool is on a fixed diff now. Since we have an unusual mix of GPUs and lots of CPUs, what diff do you use? I suspect the fixed diff is higher now than the VARDIFF value that many miners, especially CPUs, were mining against before. That would mean your share count has gone down, but the shares are worth proportionally more. It’s your payout that you need to look at, although that’s rough right now, since the coin reward per block is going up constantly, and the hash rate is changing dramatically. Just my take on it. Peace
That is the only criticism I’d have of flypool (and ethpool/ethermine). Their user interface is kind of outdated as Suprnova and other pools have realtime stats. Flypool as a page which you have to refresh.
You should make a suggestion to them to look into updating their interface to include realtime hash rates.
where is source of this news? They should announce at poll, cause peoples are afrraid
The news is above you by a couple hours, announced by @peter_zcash, the pool operator.
lol, thx didnt saw that
I guess peter thinks the current “z-address” alert is too important to replace with an announcement of the VARDIFF change.
The pool worked fine before today , they changed something and fucked it up
I was getting over 2.6 K.S there with the same hardware now 1.6 i had zero rejects now i have like 8% across the board same softrare on my end
need to fix that … I have 100 sol yesterday and today i have ±40
Its a 60% of mining power loose and geting the 0 sol error on GPU miner constantly (thats why big loose…)
Please fix it.
Same here. Hashrate dropt 50% dunnot why, but I think peter is working on it …
Please send us a log of your miner when it starts to produce 0 Sol/s.
We checked out servers and the deadlocking issues which caused the connection problems yesterday has been resolved. With our test miners we were able to mine without any issues during the last 7 hours.
If you experience any connections issues please send us the following information via PM so that we can investigate properly:
Your zcash address under which you mine on the pool
Pool server you are using
OS and miner version
Log file of your miner when the issue occurred
Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for answer.
How can I get a log of my miner?
I’m using genoil 0.5 and Amd R9 GPU.
Also, it says 32 sol/s in miner, but I also get 50% on pool.
My adress is:
http://zcash.flypool.org/miners/t1XSKkVJyCPQESkFwxeKCb89FZFWYENaUW4
I was mining at 98 Sol/s yesterday and now with same rigs its only 40 Sol/s.
All different PC with different cpu - gpus are mining under 50%
Where is the problem?
@peter_zach i have the same problem. I will send here my logs.
zcash.flypool.org
Win 10
Genoil 0.5
start genoil.exe -k zec zec -c eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -u myaddress.rig1 -p x -P 1 -i 20 -w 64
This problem appear after 2-4 min from opening start.bat. In 10 min all rx480 are 0.0S/S.

never had to poolhop so much on a freaking coin anoying af
this is my third pool , you pool opps need to get your acts together this is rediclous
looked at my logs the same thing, that stupid socket deal happens then all the miners go to 0 sols then crash
Any solutions? Restating again and same problem. This problem persist from yesterday. Maybe peter_zach will find a way to resolve the problem.
