That looks really sweet! You might try turning down the Fan % (run a fixed percent rather than auto) until you see the temp start to rise. That might save you a few more watts. I seem to recall folks saying that these can run higher temps for sustained periods of time with no problems. 70ºC sticks in my mind, but search the messages here and over on bitcointalk.org in the Altcoin Mining sub-forum to be sure.
How did you manage to reach 1200 H/s with 470? what kind of GPU (sapphire, XFX, ASUS) you are using and what kind of bios?
would also like to know. Getting 1070 H/s with 860 Watt from the wall on 6x Sapphire RX 470 Nitro 4GB
I’ve used the Saphire Nitro+ RX470 8GB Version. You get 200H/s with @AnorakSupra roms. If you overclock and tune his rom you will receive +5-10H/s so overall 205-210 H/s is possible. At the moment I’ve sold my 2 rigs…
Hi @boysie123 friend of mine says he is doing 250H/s using the same red devil rx 480 cards.
I do have the same cards and just did the setting with wattool as recommended by you but I am getting 170H/s can you help me with the settings so I can get 250 as well?
Just to mention that I am after the speed not the power consumption.
@boysie123 please.
you mod the memory straps in the bios, push the core and memory clocks as high as you can, if your card can handle it (may depend on ASIC quality) then you should get around 250.
but those cards might not be the best for overclocking according to what I have read on overclocker forums - people complain about throttling due to the VRMs
