Do you think so ?
Same happen with all AMD cards. Same principal . My point is the way you set up the rig or the card is very important, also the luck for Good miner with much more clear sinchronization, the way of testing the cards for maximum performance and lower power and finaly money in the pocket. 2 RX 470 4GB with unlocked ram = 2rx480 8gb that is the first thing. Read a bit if i am not wright send me your Bitcoin address to give you 1 BTC. 2 If you want we can step by step configurate and put your maximal performance settings on your rig and see if we can reach my maximum at the moment of 65 solutions per sec. Actualy it depence a bit of the speed of your internet provider but not too much. Have a good day or night i have to play with my doughter and please add email
You owe me and trolloniez 0.5 BTC each
I get about 90 h/s each card(rx470)
Version 0.3.0 of my miner gives about 120Sol/s on a stock RX 470.
wow, are you telling me I dont get to sleep tonight cause i already been up all day LOL
Where do you run this miner ? normal linux or ethos?
Normal linux. I have tested it with Ubuntu and Gentoo.
pool or solo?
(20 char)
It is possible to run this miner in EthOS ?
EthOS = Linux
Yes of course.
It will not run on EthOS out of the box (or any Ubuntu 14.x)
For EthOS you will need to run:
add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-toolchain-r/test
apt-get-ubuntu update
apt-get-ubuntu install libstdc++6
And not it will run!
For ubuntu 14.x you need to run:
add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-toolchain-r/test
apt-get update
apt-get install libstdc++6
Run these commands at your own risk (especially on EthOS!)
atitweak like program for AMDGPU-pro
It’s provided by AMD, and enables all of the atitweak like settings. Although, it doesn’t appear to let you set the clocks beyond what’s already in the bios.
I played with the Overdrive setting, but it didn’t seem to change much.

Is this with the 8gb model? modded bios or not?
70 - 75 sols/s on Rx 480 8gb with 1750 straps, 1200 core, 2150 clock.
55 - 60 sols/s on Rx 470 4gb stock bios with 1200 core, 1750 clock.
Using claymore 4.0
Running 2x Rx 470 4gb and 2x Rx 480 8 gb on Asrock H81 pro btc V2 and G1840 celeron.
I’ve seen it go about 5% higher if I only run 1 card, I think the sols/s are cpu limited.
webside of its producer says “The NITRO+ RX 480 8GB version comes with 2304 GCN-based stream processors that run with a factory-overclock base clock of up to 1342 MHz The model comes with a full 8 GB GDDR5 memory clocked at 2000 MHz on a 256-bit interface.”
