thanks. i believe that in my case there is some play on bios pci settings.
i was able to change from 30/GPU to 35/GPU on MSI RX 470 4gb (essentially similar to your reference of 36) by just changing bios settings and instances setting (to default)
second interesting point is that my Asus r7 370 4gb only do 22.4s/GPU, athough I am using older AMD SDK and older fglrx. I will update them later tonight.
installed this in manjaro arch and it worked, sees by 2 GPUs
but then i get this error, yet the file is there…
/usr/bin/sa-solver: /opt/cuda/lib64/libOpenCL.so.1: no version information available (required by /usr/bin/sa-solver)
I seem to be getting around 260-270 sol/s with 6xR470’s with modded bios.
Very happy with it now I’ve got it working on linux
I’m using an ASRock B85 Anniversary motherboard, 6x USB risers, 8gb ram, Celeron G1840 CPU, and 6 x 4GB RX470 Nitro’s.
Thanks again to cryptomined for the tutorials on youtube, and the tutorial to flash the bios, also thanks to mrb for the great miner!
your welcome, I’m glade it helped you, and thanks for pointing out the blake2 stuff the other day. trying to learn more about the recent optimizations and installing on a ubuntu NVidia rig now to try out
almost at 1000 subs in about a month - that is pretty cool
I will probably re-upload the ubuntu how to install video as I think i messed up on some text
It’s fairly stable, I keep checking it couple of times a day.
Had a gpu stick at 0.0 sols/s and when I ctrl+c the whole thing crashed, so had to hard reset it. Part from that seems ok.
You are assuming too much, I have the card let’s leave it at that. I posted abut what to acquire next…I’ve got a chance to add two more cards in the 6800K box.
