If you didn’t know what addresses you’re looking for, then yes. However, it may be possible to recover those with a working zecwallet light and your seed. It would be convenient to use the existing wallet db files for speed, but I’m unsure as to whether or not it will build correctly on mac (it very well may, I’ll try) and the seed by itself will suffice. The latest is here, it’s a recent thing which may allow for up-to-date spending. But, it will definitely work for Zecwallet light address recovery: import the seed, re-create what you think are probably the correct required addresses (they will all be the same from before) and rescan. This also allows you to get any Sapling keys which can be imported into Ywallet and then theres no extra hassle. Orchard addresses must be derived with the seed; theres no key option like with Sapling and Transparent and so, similarly, it’s good to know what address your looking for. Creating new addresses in zecwallet light doesn’t immediately incur a rescan so you can just make them on demand, really, if that’s all you needed it for.
