Anyone gotten their hands on one of these yet? Not sure if they sent any test units out to people for review. Apparently the fans are 6800 rpm so it should scream. Wonder if they are adjustable.

Can we call this a “Warranty”? Each person involved to mining will choose a normal GPU with 2 or 3 years (!) of warranty, which will cover burned components too (not caused by user of course).

yeah it doesnt sound like that attractive of a warranty to be honest
gigabyte fixed my card even after it got a drip from the CPU waterblock and I had to put the stock fans back on… like they are not stupid they would have known I removed the heatsink for sure… they didnt care. BTW - dont mine on a custom water cooled loop, those things are just not meant to stay on 100% for days - tubes can warp a bit when on so hot for so long…
Agreed that is a horrible warranty. At least give us a year and cover burned circuit board or chips.
yeah if it burns out why wouldnt it be covered? i meant the purpose is to leave it on 24/7/365
it doesnt sound very confident to not cover it if it fails under its general usage
I would honestly be scared to recommend it to someone as stealth said above, at least without testing it out for a year first and saying they should not burn out
especially I live in a hot climate… what about people who live in hot climates?

They also said they will not support linux which is unfortunate. Hope they reconsider that as well.

Its just running windows so id assume we can install any miner. Need to ask them tho.
yeah i tried to talk them into supporting ubuntu but they said maybe if they sell enough units.
again not very confident if you ask me - cant even install free ubuntu and test it out?

As far as I know it is windows.
I personally met with the CEO who made this and had a dinner together. He looks a dedicated and reliable person. The box is really really tight and small, very good for large farm deployment. The made quality is very good and heavy.

i mean if they cant fix the english on the site after i give them better english… how can we expect them to fix a broken unit responsibly?
i have lived here long enough to know… trust is earned… and you cant trust most people here… doesn’t matter what they say or look like - lying and backstabbing is the norm here… even most foreigners here can not be trusted… people always give a good impression here at first… its “saving face” its a chinese tradition. we dont do that in the west… at least most of us don’t… we are blatant and direct.
after spending 1/2 an hour to correct their english, and them not changing anything, i just dont think its worth spending any more time to look at… and with a 45 day warranty…
I dont know why i wasted time correcting their bad english - they (or one employee) knew I was correcting it… and they didn’t say dont bother cause we aren’t going to change anything… I mean come on… you cant even edit the website? you need someone else to do that? give me a break… editing html is so easy
everytime I think about going to visit the office, i just think… well they let me waste my time correcting their chinese-english… what other of my time will get wasted?
or what about those who buy it? how much of their time will get wasted with repairs outside of the 45 day warranty… honestly sounds like a headache… and besides assembling your own rig is fun.
i asked from the start - it all depends on your warranty - and just found out recently its only 45 days… they could have said that the first time I asked - i dont like asking twice
getting stuff “repaired” in china sucks! you know how much chinese stuff breaks? thats why we buy imported even here in china. - and you know it buddy
